Ditto for me. This has been my thought on life all along: mankind doesn’t exist to turn in on itself, for every man and woman to focus on their own exploits. While it’s true we only live by focusing on our family and friends - isn’t that the point? We aren’t doing things on our own because we have people at our backs. Even if they’re not physically helping us, knowing that you have people who at least care enough about you to send text messages every once in a while or say “hi” to you when they walk by in the office is a source of strength for us. What makes us human isn’t our own ability; it’s each other.
